1969 Rolex 5513 Video
The 5513 model was introduced to the rolex line in 1962. The 5513 replaced the reference 5508. The 5513 was in produced from 1962 through June or so of 1990, making it be one of the longest continually produced models in Rolex history. The reference 5513 used 1520 and 1530 movements. Oddly enough the caliber 1530 was used in the 5513 and 5512. The 5512 was C.O.S.C. certified while the 5513 using the same caliber did not have the chronometer certification. The 5513 is one of the most collectable Submariners and while the price has dropped in recent months, market prices have almost doubled from 2003 to 2005.
